VERGENOEG MINE
Food assistance has been assisted at the Phananani Community Centre and partnering with Vergenoeg Mine and Dinokeng Blue IQ during the winter of 2009, blankets and food supplies were handed out at the Mokubjane Old Age Home. This old age home care for 30 aged people.
Food supplies is always welcome at care centres. At the Mokubjane Old Age Home the accommodation is a tin and wood structure. Buildings and Hot water and gas cooking will make a difference.
The cost of funerals and catering for the funeral procession is hampering underprivileged families. Kwalata has seen this need and is assisting these families with food hampers from our butchery and kitchen weekly.
