Kwalata’s Cultural Tour to Mandela Village provides a unique experience. Our tour embarks on a trip to the vibrant Mandela Village close to Kwalata Game Ranch. This town was established during the time of the release of former President Nelson Mandela, and we will also have a chance to view a full sized bronze statue of our respected statesmen. Experience the vibrate true township feeling by the locals and enjoy African hospitality at its best.

Our impetus emphasis is on community upliftment, by utilizing local transport, support existing businesses; provide training and service to promote their businesses.
Kwalata has been an active community role player, since 1990. We assist and facilitate various community projects.

Kwalata won the Tshwane Tourism Award, recognising tourism leaders that are actively involved and joining hands with the community.

We also offer companies and groups the opportunity to participate in community development projects, that can be facilitated by the Kwalata team, in our neighbouring communities.

Kwalata assisted local artist Jenny Silver with her development of the “Freedom walls” being created in Stevebikoville / Kekana Gardens. Kwalata has been assisting in creating this tourism designation that will through art and theatre, create tourism jobs and opportunity.
